What is Emotion Analysis?

Emotion Analysis is the 8th analyzer in the Sentiqra platform. It detects 20 distinct emotions in text - including joy, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, love, pride, shame, hope, and gratitude.

Unlike other Sentiqra domains that organize signals into groups and indicators, Emotion Analysis uses a flat taxonomy: each emotion is both the group and the indicator, with per-language evaluation.

The API returns the top-3 emotions ranked by signal-match score. Non-emotional text simply returns an empty result set.

Emotion Analysis detects emotional expression in text - not psychological diagnosis or mental-health conditions. It analyzes which emotions are expressed in the text, not the author's mental state.

How it works

1

Versioned analysis

Submitted text is processed by the proprietary, non-generative analysis engine under an immutable, versioned configuration - the same input under the same configuration and output profile produces the same output.

2

Return

The API returns the top-3 emotions with signal-match scores and a signed verification receipt - deterministic, reproducible, and auditable.
