API Changelog & Versioning
Every release, every change, every deprecation. Transparent API evolution with a clear versioning policy.
Between February 2025 and September 2026, product changes were tracked internally but not published here. The four v1.6-v1.9 entries dated 2026-09-15 were reconstructed from internal release notes - each shows its original ship window (~March through ~September 2026) alongside the publication date. From September 2026 onward, we commit to publishing a changelog entry within 7 days of every change to the API contract, pricing, deprecations, or user-visible features.
Analyzer-quality updates follow a different publication model: outcome-oriented summaries at month precision, so the public record cannot be used to diff the detection engine against specific releases. Request access for exact ship dates and change detail - customers pinning a configuration in receipts see full private release notes.
Versioning Policy
Breaking contract changes require a new major API version. A new major version is announced with a deprecation window and dual-running period before the previous version is retired.
New fields, endpoints, and parameters are added without version bumps. Clients must ignore unknown fields.
Deprecated endpoints return a Sunset header with the removal date. Announced via changelog and email to API key owners.
Breaking changes and deprecations are emailed to API key owners and announced here. Signed-in customers see exact analyzer-release dates; anonymous entries summarize engine updates at month precision.
