Cookie Policy
Overview
Sentiqra uses a minimal set of first-party cookies and browser storage. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Cookies & storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention | Essential? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __Host-sentiqra-session | Essential cookie | Session management & authentication — host-only (Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, no Domain): the __Host- prefix pins it to this exact host, so no sibling subdomain can set or overwrite it | Session | Yes |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Essential cookie | Cross-site request forgery protection | Session | Yes |
| sq_cookie_consent | localStorage | Records your analytics consent choice so we can honor it | Until you change it via Cookie Settings | Yes (consent record) |
| sentiqra-theme | localStorage | Remembers light/dark theme preference | Until changed | Yes (preference) |
| per-page session id | In-memory only (never written to storage) | Groups analytics events within a single page view - exists only after consent | Discarded when the page closes | No - analytics only |
Analytics
Our first-party analytics sends page-view and click events via the Beacon API - no third-party cookies and no persistent analytics identifier (the session id lives only in page memory). Analytics runs only after you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting produces no analytics requests and no identifier.
Analytics events are limited to event name, page path (query strings are stripped server-side), a per-page session id, and coarse labels - never submitted analysis text, API keys, form messages, or sensitive URL parameters.
Managing consent
Open Cookie Settings in the site footer at any time to reopen preferences - accept, reject, or toggle the analytics category and save. Withdrawal takes effect immediately: no further events are sent, and your login session and other essential storage are untouched. You never need to clear browser storage manually.
Security telemetry
Separate from analytics, the API keeps server-side rate-limit and abuse-detection counters (see the Privacy Policy, Section 4). These are not marketing analytics, carry no event stream about your browsing, and are not controlled by this banner - they exist to protect the service and apply equally to every request.
Do Not Track
Because analytics is consent-gated and first-party only, declining consent is equivalent to a Do-Not-Track signal - no analytics data is collected.
Changes
We update this policy when the cookies or storage we use change. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
